James is a native of Colorado, food, and wine enthusiast. James and his wife Maria love exploring Denver’s food scene and they appreciate that chefs source their ingredients from local farms. They both agree that there is a noticeable difference in the flavors of a meal when prepared with fresh produce.

James started growing his own vegetables at home using traditional raised garden beds but it proved very frustrating with Colorado’s unpredictable weather so he converted to hydroponics and grows an assortment of produce year-round for his family. His favorites are Astro Arugula, Romaine lettuce, and Shishito Peppers.
